Why StreamlineGT exists

The internet used to be full of personal sites: odd, handmade places where someone put the things they liked. Somewhere along the way most of that moved into feeds that decide what you see and count how many people saw it.

StreamlineGT is my small push back. It is where I keep the things I wrote, the pictures I took, the stuff I found, what I am listening to and watching, and what I am learning — so I can remember it, and so anyone who wanders by can poke around.

What you will find here

A new issue every so often, pulling together whatever has been going on. In between: journal entries, photo albums, good finds from around the web, and a running note of what I am into right now.

There are no follower counts, likes or rankings here. No infinite scroll. When you reach the bottom of a page, that is the bottom.

Where the name comes from

“Streamline” was a summer-camp nickname that stuck. I tried the old trick of pretending to like it so it would go away. It did not go away. Eventually I actually liked it — and here we are.
